Classic DF sweatpants & hand-printed flock print
A flock print has been applied to the front left side of these classic sweatpants with elasticated hems.
A Japanese artisan we have worked with for approximately 20 years carefully hand-prints each piece.
The matte, velvet-like flock print beautifully harmonizes with DF's signature fabric texture through the artisans' skill, resulting in one-of-a-kind sweatpants unlike any other.
DF's signature fabric, created from original yarn
Made with completely original nep fleece fabric. Using a rare vintage Tompkins knitting machine, we went through repeated trial and error, from selecting fully custom yarn and setting the yarn count to fine-tuning the knitting process.
DF's signature nep yarn is custom-produced in Japan. Using this yarn, it is slowly knitted in Shanghai on a rare Tompkins knitting machine dating back approximately 100 years.
Although crossing national borders makes this an inefficient process, we believe it is the best way to pursue the craftsmanship of the finest artisans and factories.
The slowly knitted fabric offers excellent breathability while remaining surprisingly warm even when temperatures drop. Its key feature is the warmth that helps retain body heat.
The DF nep yarn series is also the softest among DF fabrics.
It is alsohighly durable, resists losing its shape even after years of wear, and allows you to enjoy its changing character over time.
The fabric created through this process of trial and error has a unique texture and softness found nowhere else.

FAQ
Q. Is regular washing okay?
Yes, that’s fine. Our products are carefully knitted on old-fashioned knitting machines, but they can be washed as usual. To keep them in better condition, we recommend using a laundry net. Also, with the exception of some materials (such as the Heathered Jersey series), they can be tumble-dried.
Q. Does it shrink after washing?
No, it will not shrink significantly in the wash. In fact, our products are at their most shrunk when new, and the fabric gradually loosens with repeated wear. Our products are made from fabric knitted slowly on old-fashioned knitting machines and designed using our own unique recipe. After the fabric is finished, it is sewn and then given additional treatments, such as washing and garment dyeing, to pre-shrink it as much as it naturally would.
That means the “fully shrunk” state is the new state, and washing causes almost no sudden change in size. However, the fabric will loosen with continued wear and shrink slightly when washed or tumble-dried (excluding some of our heathered jersey series). As the fabric loosens and shrinks repeatedly, it gradually conforms to your body.
Unlike mass-produced fabrics, which offer the benefits of modern manufacturing, our products have the distinctive qualities of traditional production methods. Enjoy their characteristics and how they change over time, in contrast to the qualities of modern fabrics.
Q. I usually wear a size M T-shirt (for someone 170–173 cm tall). Which size do you recommend in your products, S or M?
We offer standard, wide, and relaxed styles, and the fit varies by design.
For people with an average build (around 170 cm tall), we generally recommend the standard style in a just-right M size.
If you’d like a little extra room but prefer a shorter length, we recommend sizing down to S in the wide style.
Our items are available as staple pieces, so you can enjoy different looks and styling options simply by changing sizes. We hope you’ll give this approach a try.

Q. When will the product be shipped?
