A fabric unique to DF, created from original yarn.

Using completely original melange fleece fabric. We went through numerous trials and errors from selecting completely custom yarn to setting the gauge and adjusting the knitting using a rare old Tompkins knitting machine.

The unique melange yarn of DF is produced in Japan as a special order. Using that yarn, it is slowly knitted on a rare Tompkins knitting machine from about 100 years ago located in Shanghai.

While it is an inefficient method to cross countries, I believe it is the best way to seek the craftsmanship of the finest artisans and factories.

The DF melange yarn series is the softest among DF fabrics.
It is also durable, resistant to shape distortion even after years of wear, and allows you to enjoy the changes over time.

The fabric that was created through such trial and error has a unique texture and softness.

The ribbed binder finish at the neckline, and the ribbing at the cuffs and waist are sewn with flat seams, resulting in a clean finish while keeping the fabric thickness in check.

The front and back of the neckline and both underarms are equipped with gussets, recreating the details of classic vintage sweatshirts.
